Find the right Doctor

It’s always challenging to find the right doctor and practitioner for your aesthetic treatments. It’s an overwhelming consumer world with lots of noise and conflicting information. Even when you meet practitioners face to face they might advise different treatments for you. It’s always best to meet a few practitioners in person and see who feels like the right fit for you because it takes huge trust to let someone inject your face and it often becomes a very special journey over the years with that practitioner. I have been treating many of my patients for over 15 years.

Transparency and honesty

My promise to you and to all my patients is to always be honest, kind and transparent. I will always strive to recommend the best treatments for your skin type, your stage of ageing and your ethnicity. It’s always a bespoke treatment plan that I create because no two people are the same. We all have unique faces and quirks from our particular bone structure, fat pad distribution, muscle strength and skin quality. So if I see two friends in the clinic it’s likely that their treatment plans will be different. If I think a treatment won’t work for you I will always tell you and advise you to save your money(!), but I will always also try to recommend a suitable alternative. My aim always is to have happy patients that return for my services over and over again.

Safe and effective treatments

I only introduce treatments and products into my clinic that have clinical evidence and come with scientific backing. It is important for me as a Doctor to work in an evidence based way. That way you know that every treatment you have in the clinic will be safe and effective. Every treatment that I have in the clinic I have had personally myself and has formed the basis of my own anti-ageing regime. This allows me to very clearly explain to you in your consultations how it might feel, what downtime you might expect and when you will start to see results.

Upfront costings

It’s important that you understand the cost of your treatment before I perform it as we cannot refund treatments once they have been performed. I will always discuss the cost of treatments with you and ask you to sign a consent form before I perform any treatment on you. You will have the opportunity to discuss the intended benefits of your treatment, the potential risks and the price that you will be expected to pay. I will always give you the opportunity to say no and to not proceed with the treatment. There is never any pressure to have a treatment and if it doesn’t feel right to you I will encourage you not to proceed. I will always be happy for you to meet with other practitioners and to seek a second opinion. This is all part of ethical medical practice.

Ongoing Training

I regularly attend training courses all over the world to upskill and to ensure that my skills are as current and brilliant as they can be. I train other Doctors and Nurses in injectables globally too. I considered myself to be one of the UK’s most experienced injectors and am always pushing myself to be better. I have trained with some of the most brilliant physicians in the world and will always aspire to be the very best. This commitment to advanced training means that my patients benefit from the very best techniques and products.

CQC premises

All clinical spaces that I see patients in are CQC registered. This means you can expect a high quality of hygiene, safety and clinical care. It is standard for Aesthetic Doctors to work in CQC premises and is part of excellent clinical practice.

Ethical care

I took the Hippocratic oath when I became a Doctor. The Hippocratic oath is an oath of ethics historically taken by doctors to uphold a specific ethical standard. This oath includes medical confidentiality, non maleficence and to do no harm. If you become my patient I will always look after you and work with you in your best interests. I have a vast network of colleagues and if I don’t think that I can help you I will always endeavour to refer you to an ethical and highly skilled medical colleague.
