What is Polynucleotide treatment?

An injectable bio stimulant gel stimulates the production of collagen, skin tissues are also regenerated to create an immediate lifting effect. Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA. They improve the condition of the extracellular matrix which is the layer of skin where the fibroblasts are. By targeting the fibroblasts new collagen and elastin production is kick started. Polynucleotides can be used on the face, neck decolletage and eyes and are an excellent alternative for patients who do not need volume added around the eyes or are concerned with puffiness.

Number of treatments

A course of 2-3 treatments spaced at 4-6 weekly intervals is recommended for the best result.
Results Some results are seen at around 6 weeks but full results are visible at 3 months.
Downtime There may be some mild bruising, small bumps or swelling at the injection sites but this is temporary. Most people can continue with their usual daily activities.
Repeat One maintenance treatment is recommended at around 4-6 months.
